Our Story

Tourist Fashion is a Sydney-based streetwear brand built on one simple truth: most of us are just visiting.

We make hats, tees, and apparel for the culturally displaced, the nostalgically confused — anyone who’s ever had to explain what ajvar is at a dinner table.

Our work draws on Balkan and Yugoslav culture — its food, flags, football clubs, and its particular mix of chaos and warmth. We take the visual language of luxury fashion and remix it through that lens.

The result is streetwear that looks like it belongs on a runway, but makes your baba laugh.

Because the Balkans have always had their own version of luxury — it just looks different. A jar of homemade ajvar. A hand-knitted jumper. Showing up to a family gathering in a tracksuit and still being the best dressed.

We’re not imitating luxury — we’re remixing it with the culture that raised us.

We held off starting this brand because we didn’t want to contribute to fast fashion — overproduction, synthetic fabrics, and landfill.

What changed was finding a better way.

Every piece is made to order. No mass production, no excess stock, no waste sitting in a warehouse. You order it, we make it, we send it.

We don’t make clothes to sit on shelves — we make them because someone actually wants them.
